I don't have very many memories of my childhood, but the few I do have feel substantial.  I remember sitting in a green field of clover on a warm spring day, during recess at the playground of my elementary school.  I attended school in Fenton, Illinois that year. I must have been in only first grade, when the name Crystal came to me as inspiration.  I thought maybe one day I would name my daughter Crystal, I always knew I wanted to be a Mom.  Turns out, God gave me that name when I was a small child- to prepare me for this very day.  I think I always wanted to be a singer/songwriter- it just took me 37 years to remember who I am.
